Minnesota Golden Gophers Announce Kickoff Times for 2023 Season

The Minnesota Golden Gophers are gearing up for an exciting 2023 college football season, with only 100 days remaining until kickoff. Fans can now mark their calendars as the Gophers have announced kickoff times for five of their games this fall. Head coach P.J. Fleck's squad will begin their season by hosting Eastern Illinois on Thursday, September 3, at Huntington Bank Stadium, with the game set to start at 7 p.m. and available for streaming on Peacock. The following week, the Gophers will welcome the Mississippi State Bulldogs to the Twin Cities on Saturday, September 12, for their first-ever meeting, kicking off at 2:30 p.m. on CBS. Minnesota will then close out their non-conference schedule with a home game against the Akron Zips on Saturday, September 19, at 11 a.m., which will be televised on the Big Ten Network. As the season progresses, fans can look forward to a Homecoming matchup against the Iowa Hawkeyes on Saturday, October 24, with kickoff times still to be determined. The Gophers will also face their long-time rival Wisconsin in the Battle for Paul Bunyan’s Axe on Black Friday, November 27, at 6:30 p.m., airing on NBC.
